PRIVATE LESSONS

Private lessons have the advantage of giving you and your dog more one on one instruction time. In addition to this, private lessons are sometimes preferred for the very difficult dog, or simply solving a minor
 problem or two.

What's offered:

IN HOME PROBLEM SOLVING

Specific problem solving in your home with instructions tailored to meet your needs. 
Approximately 1 - 1.5 hrs per visit, includes follow up email support.
Cost = $70.00 per visit.

HOUSE TRAINING

Some times it's tough to get a dog house trained reliably, and dog's are frequently given up because of this.  I can help. With a consultation in your home I will  give you the right "tools" needed to reliably get your dog house trained in no time! The session takes approximately 1 -1.5hrs  and includes written handouts and follow up email support.
Cost = $70.00

STRUCTURED OBEDIENCE LESSONS

A full 6 weeks of obedience lessons for either puppies or adult dogs.
This includes written handouts and unlimited support via email throughout the training session. Many behavioral problems can be solved by structured obedience lessons
Cost = $400.00/6wks.

PREPARING FOR PUPPY

Bringing home a puppy is a big step in your life, and one that should not be taken lightly. This is a very exciting time, but you want to be sure to do it right. I can help give you a head start to make things as easy as possible for you. This can be done either before getting a puppy, after, or both.

Some of the things we will cover:
  • Housebreaking
  • Chewing
  • Feeding
  • Important health tips 
  • SpayNeuter- When is the right time?
  • Building good habits now, avoiding problems ahead of time

BREED SELECTING                                                                                                                                                        

Not all dogs are the same, and it's very important to pick the right dog for your family's lifestyle. Often people will pick a breed simply because they like the cute dog they've just seen on T.V. They go out and get a puppy without researching the breed and later realize that the cute Border Collie pup is really not working out so well with their relatively calm lifestyle, or the Yorkshire Terrier may not have been the best choice for their active hiking and camping lifestyle.


I can meet with you to discuss the pros and cons of different breeds before you get your puppy. I can also help advise you on how to find
a good breeder, and what you should be expecting from the breeder.
